THE CORRECT SKI LENGTH FOR CHILDREN
Especially by children and the little ones learning, choosing the correct length of ski is of major importance. In the following chart we explain how the ski length is influenced by age and skiing speed.
With the correct choice it is possible to use the ski for about 2 years. More than 2 years is not normally possible, that is why it makes less sense to purchase a ski that is too long.
General rule of thumb: every 2 years an increase of maximum 20 cm.
Our Tip:
It is better that the skis are of perfect length for the 1st year and a little too short for the 2nd than too long and then good for the 2nd. A 3rd year is in most cases not possible.
