Polar Precision Prime sensor fusion technology
The Ignite 2 measures the pulse directly on the wrist using Polar Precision Prime sensor fusion technology. This innovation combines optical pulse measurement with skin contact measurement in order to rule out any movement artifacts in the measurement that interfere with the pulse signal and lead to unreliable measurements. In this way, the heart rate is measured precisely even under the most demanding conditions, in EVERY training situation and during the most demanding training units.
