IPS - Interference Protection System This unique technology compensates for the influence of electronic and metallic interference on the transmitter by analyzing the interfering signals and adapting to them. As a result, the PIEPS PRO IPS delivers maximum transmission power. In an emergency, users of the PIEPS PRO IPS are therefore better protected against interference from objects that could minimize the transmission power. Electronic products can cause a wide range of interference. With the IPS system, PIEPS has been able to compensate for a large part, but due to their diversity, not all interference can be ruled out. It is therefore still recommended to keep a minimum distance of 20 cm in transmit mode and 50 cm in search mode from possible sources of interference such as metal lunch boxes, cell phones, cameras or avalanche shovels.

 

DASP- Dual Antenna Signal Processing The already leading signal tracking quality of PIEPS has been increased even further with the PIEPS PRO IPS. Thanks to DUAL ANTENNA SIGNAL PROCESSING, the X and Y antenna signals are processed simultaneously. This ensures even more precise localization of the transmitted signal, effective elimination of ghost signals and a very high real range. This gives the user an extremely reliable and stable directional display from the very first signal.
