Stylish enduro helmet meets intelligent crash sensor. The uvex finale 2.0 Tocsen shows how smart Safety 2.0 functions off-road.
Touring alone and feeling slightly uneasy? There’s no need for that now with the uvex finale 2.0 Tocsen, which means that mountain bikers are no longer alone after a crash. The smart enduro helmet with intelligent Tocsen crash sensor triggers an emergency call and transmits GPS data to a list of key personal contacts in the event of an accident and if the rider no longer reacts. To enable this, the Tocsen sensor integrated into the dial of the size adjustment system is connected with the accompanying smartphone app before the start of a tour. As an additional safety feature, the system also notifies the ever-growing Tocsen community of the accident so that any first responders in the immediate vicinity can reach the site quickly. Further standout features of the uvex finale 2.0 Tocsen are the visor with three different positions, the deep rear for improved impact protection and 19 ventilation channels.
HOW DO I MEASURE MY HELMET SIZE
Measuring the helmet size
A flexible tape measure is needed to find out the correct size. The head is measured by placing the tape measure around the head about 1 cm above the eyebrow and wrapping the band tightly around the head.
The correct helmet size = head measurement in cm + 1 cm
Important information
The helmet is thankfully as shown by accident statistics a standard piece of equipement needed in sport. In the past one would be laughed at when wearing a helmet where as today it is the other way around, being used in summer for biking, skating, inline skating and in winter for boarding and skiing. Generally there are 2 possibilities to adjust the helmet for the perfect fit. One is the head ring system, an inbuilt band with an adjustable mechanism at the rear of the helmut. The second method is the use of velcroe attached padding inside the helmet. The padding system does not allow a large adjustment possibility like the head ring system.
All helmets in our range meet safety standards and have been tested.
OUR TIP:
For children we recommend the head ring system so that the helmet can be used for more easons due to its larger adjustment range. Please remember that after heavy accidents the helmet should be replaced.
