Tested on the famous stages of the Enduro World Series in Finale Ligure, made for bikers who demand the best material with superior protection and good ventilation.
The design of the uvex finale MTB helmet with low side parts and more space at the back of the head offers additional safety and at the same time corresponds to the trendy enduro style.
Despite the enlarged helmet surface, uvex engineers have reduced the weight to a mere 300 grams and also worked on a sophisticated ventilation management system. Because in hot conditions such as on the Mediterranean trails in Finale Ligure, a cool head is not only pleasant, but a decisive factor for concentration and performance. The uvex finale therefore comes with twenty ventilation openings which, in conjunction with the 20 ventilation channels running inside, ensure ideal air circulation. The perfect fit on the head can be precisely adjusted using the uvex anatomic IAS system. Because accuracy of fit prevents slipping on fast downhills and is an important safety factor in the event of unintentional downhill trails.
HOW DO I MEASURE MY HELMET SIZE
Measuring the helmet size
A flexible tape measure is needed to find out the correct size. The head is measured by placing the tape measure around the head about 1 cm above the eyebrow and wrapping the band tightly around the head.
The correct helmet size = head measurement in cm + 1 cm
Important information
The helmet is thankfully as shown by accident statistics a standard piece of equipement needed in sport. In the past one would be laughed at when wearing a helmet where as today it is the other way around, being used in summer for biking, skating, inline skating and in winter for boarding and skiing. Generally there are 2 possibilities to adjust the helmet for the perfect fit. One is the head ring system, an inbuilt band with an adjustable mechanism at the rear of the helmut. The second method is the use of velcroe attached padding inside the helmet. The padding system does not allow a large adjustment possibility like the head ring system.
All helmets in our range meet safety standards and have been tested.
OUR TIP:
For children we recommend the head ring system so that the helmet can be used for more easons due to its larger adjustment range. Please remember that after heavy accidents the helmet should be replaced.
