With its versatile equipment, the Freerider Pro is just right for multi-day tours in snowy mountains. A highlight of the Freerider Pro is the new roll top. Because with it you can expand the volume by approx. 10 liters. There is also a stowable strap on the roll top, with which you can fix additional luggage or a rope or compress the roll top yourself. If you don't need your skis, snowshoes or snowboard in certain passages, you can easily and securely attach it to the outside of the backpack - with the specially designed fastening straps. Skiers can be attached diagonally or in an A-shape, snowboards and snowshoes vertically. In addition, the flexible straps are used for lateral compression.
You don't need to unbuckle the material during a break. Because you can quickly access all things via the back opening and thanks to the completely hinged opening you have a great overview. The new robust, breathable and snow-repellent material on the back system ensures that your back stays dry.
SL LADIES FIT
This model is available as an SL version. The SL back length that is specific to women is already evident in the back length: on average, women have a back that is not quite as long as men. The carrying system of the SL models is therefore a little shorter than that of the Deuter standard backpacks. In addition, the carrying system is specially adapted to the female anatomy.
When it comes to backpacks for alpine use, it is imperative that carrying comfort, durability and function be coordinated with one another in a weight-optimized manner. The Alpine System is the answer to this challenge. Its two softstripe cushions hug the back flexibly with every movement. In connection with the slim pack sack, the load is always kept close to the body's center of gravity. This guarantees full control over the backpack.
PFC FREE
This deuter product is free from per- & polyfluorinated chemicals. In this way, deuter reduces the use of environmentally harmful substances that have a negative impact on the environment and human health.
PFC is used, among other things, as a coating for rain protection, as it has water, dirt and grease repellent properties.
Instead, deuter is now using harmless and environmentally friendly DWR (durable water repellency) impregnation.
