The new uvex junior visor pro children's ski helmet is the ultimate comfort guarantee for your child. With a specially designed Lasergold Lite visor, your child always has an optimal view of the ski slope. The visor can be easily raised or lowered at any time. All the necessary technologies that are known from the adult models have been integrated into this inmould ski helmet: ear pads and interior fittings can be easily exchanged. A special ventilation system ensures ideal ventilation in the helmet. The IAS fitting system and the Monomatic closure guarantee perfect adjustment and high wearing comfort.
HOW DO I MEASURE MY HELMET SIZE
Measuring the helmet size
A flexible tape measure is needed to find out the correct size. The head is measured by placing the tape measure around the head about 1 cm above the eyebrow and wrapping the band tightly around the head.
The correct helmet size = head measurement in cm + 1 cm
Important information
The helmet is thankfully as shown by accident statistics a standard piece of equipement needed in sport. In the past one would be laughed at when wearing a helmet where as today it is the other way around, being used in summer for biking, skating, inline skating and in winter for boarding and skiing. Generally there are 2 possibilities to adjust the helmet for the perfect fit. One is the head ring system, an inbuilt band with an adjustable mechanism at the rear of the helmut. The second method is the use of velcroe attached padding inside the helmet. The padding system does not allow a large adjustment possibility like the head ring system.
All helmets in our range meet safety standards and have been tested.
OUR TIP:
For children we recommend the head ring system so that the helmet can be used for more easons due to its larger adjustment range. Please remember that after heavy accidents the helmet should be replaced.
