Finnlo BioForce Extreme Core strength station - revolution in strength training.

The Bio Force Extreme Core by FINNLO incl. pull-up handles, abdominal training rope AB-strap, leg strap and arm straps is the revolution in strength training! Instead of being equipped with conventional weight blocks, the Bio Force Extreme Core has a space-age TNT resistance technology (Total Nitrocell Technology). The nitrogen-filled cylinders create perfectly even resistance and operate completely silently. As a further development to our Bio Force basic model, the Bio Force Extreme Core comes with new pull-up handles and thus offers even more exercise variety for your total body strength training. More training variations, more variety, faster to a powerful V-shape.


Faster adjustment - more effective training

The adjustments of the FINNLO Bio Force Extreme Core are very easy and fast. For example, you can easily integrate drop sets (reduction sets) into your training. The sliding lock mechanism offers the possibility to adjust the resistance up to 125 kg in 2,25 kg steps with one hand, without having to get up from the power station. In addition, the bilateral resistance adjustment of the strength station enables a compensatory training for the muscularly weaker half of the body - up to 62.5 kg can be adjusted per side.

The equipment of the power station is rounded off by strong accessories: pull-up grips, AB-straps, abdominal training rope AB-strap and a leg loop. The seat can be adjusted vertically and individually. For advanced exercise variations, the seat can be easily removed from the power station.

In addition to the classical home trainer there is a big range of alternative fitness machines to choose from. there are a few important decisions to be made when choosing a fitness machine, for example, what do I want to train, how many people will be using the machine, do I have physical limits to consider, how much room do I have for my machine? Always remember that this is a long term investment, if your budget allows you then purchase the better machine and when possible from a manufacturer with a european wide repair service or at least a quarantee for spare parts.

Description of the main machine types

 

Heimtrainer

The home trainer is the classic fitness machine. You enjoy biking but are not interested in traffic or bad weather, then this stationary bike gives you an indoor trainings possibility at home. The seating position ranges from an upright position for comfort to a more advanced inclined angle all depending on the model. There are models with lower entry or with higher entry. A major difference is the weight adjustment mechanism. Cheaper models have a mechanically adjustable fly wheel, unfortunately they are louder and not allways accurate. A big difference is also to be found in the computer and display options. Important is whether the computer can save training information for more people or not. If you are the only person using the home trainer then this is not relevant.

Ergometer 

These are the Mercedes under the fitness machines. The biggest difference to the home trainer is that all ergometers adjust and gauge the trainings resistance in watt and not in levels. The resistance adjustment system runs mostly through electro static induction. These machines are totally quiet and offer an even resistance. The computer usually has, depending on the model an interface to the computer to read the data and to perform program updates. The computers provide more training programs. With these options an enhanced performance and training result possible.

Crosstrainer

In addition the crosstrainer helps with endurance training and muscle development. These machines are naturally equiped with a computer. The major difference between cheaper and more expensive models are the quietness and smoothness due to better mechanical elements and larger weights.

The treadmill is the ideal alternative to jogging in winter or on cold rainy days. Important here is the size of the running surface area and the strength of the motor. Very important is that the treadmill regulates the running speed according to the runners heart rate and fitness levels. Nordic walking is also possible on treadmills. Better models can also adjust the running angle and also offer diverse running programs. We also recommend a computer that can save training records for more people. The treadmill also absorbs and reduces shock to the joints. One hour of jogging burns roughly the same amount of calories as 2 hours of biking.
