The lightest belay device from Petzl! The VERSO is a particularly user-friendly safety device. It is used to secure a climbing partner and for abseiling. The special design makes it easier for the rope to pass through the device and at the same time protects it from wear. It is suitable for most rope diameters: single ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm, half ropes from 7.1 to 9.2 mm and twin ropes from 6.9 to 9.2 mm.

Suitable for all rope diameters:
- Compatible with dynamic single ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm.
- Compatible with dynamic half ropes from 7.1 to 9.2 mm.
- Compatible with dynamic twin ropes from 6.9 to 9.2 mm.
Easy to use:
- Handles as with all safety devices: The rope is guided into the device and one hand is always on the brake rope.
- Control brake friction through the V-shaped notched brake grooves.
- Uniform passage of the rope in the device.
- Suitable for belaying a climber and for abseiling.
- Installation on the rope is shown on the belay device (for belaying and rappelling).
Low weight and solid construction:
- Compact and extremely light: only 55 g.
- Increased service life thanks to the rounded design of the cable guide, which reduces wear on the device.
