Self-braking, compact descender designed for experienced users for areas that are difficult to access

The self-braking, compact RIG descender for hard-to-reach areas is designed for experienced users. It has an ergonomically shaped lever with which the abseiling process can be conveniently controlled. The AUTO-LOCK system enables the user to position himself at the workplace without having to operate the lever and tie off the device. After blocking, the rope can be retracted without operating the lever. The safety clip makes it possible to leave the device attached to the belt when inserting the rope.

Designed for experienced users with difficult access conditions.
User friendly:
- The movable side part is provided with a safety clip so that the device can easily remain attached to the belt when the rope is inserted, in order to facilitate the passage of intermediate safety devices.
- Guide groove and markings make it easier to insert the rope.
- With the ergonomically shaped lever, the rope can be released and the descent can be comfortably controlled. Two abseiling modes: on the side part or in the V-shaped braking groove.
- The AUTO-LOCK system enables the user to position himself at the workplace without having to operate the lever and tie off the device: as soon as he releases the lever, the rope is automatically locked in the device. The automatic return of the lever reduces the risk of getting stuck.
- When the rope is removed from the device, the lever automatically goes into the “park position” to reduce the risk of the descender worn on the harness getting caught.
Versatile application possibilities:
- After the blockage, the rope can be retracted without operating the lever, which enables e.g. short ascents on the rope.
- The actuation of the clamping cam enables rope to be released or to be secured in the lead.
Stainless steel reinforcement that protects the device from rope friction and increases wear resistance.
Abseiling of heavy loads up to 200 kg.
Rope compatibility: 10 to 11.5 mm in diameter.
Available in two colors: yellow and black.
