Descender with brake bars suitable for long abseiling trips
The RACK is an easy-to-use abseiling device for caving. It is intended for use on semi-static ropes of 9 to 13 mm diameter (single strand) or 8 to 11 mm diameter (double strand) for long rappels of more than 80 meters. The brake bars can be replaced to extend the life of the device.
Ease of use:
- very easy to use. The brake bars are easy to attach to the rope to obtain the desired friction force,
- compatible with semi-static ropes from 9 to 13 mm diameter,
Suitable for long abseiling distances (over 80 meters):
- can be used with semi-static ropes with a diameter of 8 to 11 mm in double strand,
- the rope is protected due to the good distribution of friction and heat,
- the rope cannot twist,
Optimize the life of the device by replacing the brake bars (D11300, D11250 and D11200).
